The 10 Times Ashanti Regional Boys Soccer Champions, OKESS, on Tuesday 10th March, 2026 visited the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Mr Vincent Ekow Assafuah at his residence. The team was led by the Headmaster, Mr. Frederick Keelson-Aikins.
The visit was to officially present the trophy won in January, 2026.
The MP was glad to welcome the regional champions to his residence. Hon Vincent Assafuah used the opportunity to advise the footballers to take their academic work seriously since sports without academics are a limitation to growth and development.
The MP pleaded with the sports coaches to work hard to win the Super Zonals in the coming year.
He pledged to build a dining hall for the school to ease the infrastructure burden on the school due to its huge population.
He promised the headmaster and his entourage to always call on him for any assistance.
The MP made a cash donation to the playing body for this success.
The team was made up of the Headmaster, Sports Committee Members, Coaches, and some players.
