Fire Victim Students in OKESS received Support from the Old Students Association

Thirty-seven students whose items were gutted by a fire outbreak have today received support from the Old Students Association of the school.
The association led by its President who doubles as the board chairman for the school, Mr. Ernest Owusu Ansah has today, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, made a cash donation of GHS 9,000 to the school.

According to Mr. Owusu Ansah, the President of the old students Association, each victim will have a fair share of the amount given to the school and the remaining amount will be used to reclaim the burnt structure.
He later cautioned the students to stay away from any illegalities that can cause fire outbreaks in the future.
Background of the story.
One of the boy’s dormitories on campus on August 9, 2021, gutted down by the fire. The fire outbreak affected one room and no casualties were reported. As at the time the incident occurred, the students were prepping that evening.

The Delegation also visited and encouraged the visual arts students who are doing their practicals as part of their final exams
