On 18th October 2023 the school organised a handing over ceremony to usher in the 2023/24 batch of prefects and SRC executives in a colourful display of culture. In attendance were the school’s management, teaching and non-teaching staff, outgoing prefects and executives, parents of the newly elected prefects and the entire student body.
The outgoing boys’ prefect, Erasmus Ofori-Kusi Asumadu thanked the school for the support during his tenure of office and promised to continue t uplift the name of the school in all his endeavours. The new Head Prefect and SRC President, Alvin Osei Tutu thanked the school and the students for the confidence bestowed in him. He said, he together with his sector prefects and SRC executives would continue to work hard to lift the name of the school very high.
The Head of the institution, Mr. Michael Mensah assured the new prefects and SRC executives of his unflinching support in the execution of their duties and responsibilities. He said, “Prefects are supposed to live exemplary lives worth emulating and also represent the school in good light”. He tasked the new prefects to be disciplined and respect authority because that is the only way they could expect same from others. He also asked the entire student body to accord the needed recognition and respect to the newly sworn in prefects as they represent the school authority and any form of insubordination or disrespect toward the prefects would not be tolerated. He prayed and wished them well in the discharge of their duties and
responsibilities.
