OKESS Wins Inter-School Athletics Competition (Zone 2)

The spirit is gradually coming back as OKESS was the champion of the just ended Inter-Schools Athletics meeting for ZONE 2, having been disappointed with its own performance last year 2016.

The highly motivated athletics team became champions of Zone 2 in the boys’ division beating the likes of KUMACA, K.T.I, MPASATIA, KNUST, DWAMENA AKENTEN, ADVENTIST S.H.S and others. They stayed focused on the day of the competition by winning events like 100m, 4 x 100m, 4 x 200m finals, just to mention but few.

The girls on the other hand performed exceptionally well though they were runners up to KUMASI WESLEY GIRLS S.H.S. They also won the 100m, 200m, 4 x 100m finals, and others.

The success and come back of the OKESS spirit could not have been possible without the support and motivation of the school’s administration headed by the industrious old student Mrs. Mary Cromwell Owusu.

The School’s Board, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff, the PE Department and coaching staff have all played major roles in this success story.

We wish to express our appreciation to God and all of you for your support and prayers for us during the entire competition and promise you more power-works come next year.

Watch out for Team OKESS!!!!!

Better days ahead!!!!!
