In a bid to give a glorous climax to the ARSRC’s 20th anniversary celebrations, some of the best schools in soccer I’m the region were drawn to battle each other in a top 8 football competition dubbed ARSRC TOP 8.
The honors fell on schools like the current Milo champions KASS, loosing finalist Islamic, semi finalists AMASS phobia and OWASS, Prempeh, KUHIS and ADASS the most successful team in recent history. The list could not be complete without mentioning the good OKESS known for its past glories and continuous good form in the game.
Mohammed Abdul Fatawu (poncho) captain for the Ahenemma football team led his side to the 3rd position in the competition . The team included the likes of starlets playmaker Emmanuel Toku (OKESS Messi), Samuel Teandu (OPELE), Abdul Aziz Nafia, Siaka Abdulai (Siaka Tiene), and others.
OKESS trashed Islamic 2:0 in the second match of the day with electrifying performance which eventually became match with the highest number of goals. OKESS Messi as was expected became the MVP in the match.
Unfortunately OKESS lost to the eventual winners of the competition and went on further in the 3rd/4th game to beat Prempeh College.
